Cork Collective Opens Brooklyn's First Cork-Surfaced Community Space

In partnership with NYCHA, The Urban Conga, Rockwell Group, and the Public Housing Community Fund, Cork Collective completed Brooklyn's first cork-surfaced community space at Marlboro Houses — featuring pathways built from approximately 450,000 recycled corks. This resident-designed, multigenerational space brings sensory play, accessible pathways, and an innovative stormwater system to the Gravesend community.

Cork Collective partnered with the Court of Master Sommeliers Americas for their Advanced Sommelier Course in Dallas, Texas this June. Every cork popped throughout the three-day course was collected, recycled, and given a second life.
