we're transforming
playgrounds
across the country.

Our children deserve a safer, healthier planet—and that begins with the spaces they grow and play in. Through our partnership with Corkeen, a revolutionary surfacing system for playgrounds, we’re replacing harmful playground surfaces with cork. By prioritizing sustainable design, we’re creating spaces that foster movement, community, and care.

play meets
purpose

At Cork Collective, we bring hospitality and design together to reimagine play—transforming recycled cork into vibrant, purposeful spaces where communities gather, grow, and thrive. By rethinking how public spaces are built and experienced, we’re creating environments that are joyful, inclusive, and grounded in sustainability. A future built from the ground up.

From parklets to pop-ups, our modular cork structures are designed to spark connection and creativity. Whether it’s a place to sit, climb, or convene, each installation invites people of all ages to slow down, engage, and rediscover the joy of shared space.

education

Cork Collective is committed to educating the design industry on cork’s transformative potential as a circular, sustainable material. Through storytelling, collaboration, and hands-on engagement, we ignite action, enhance awareness, and showcase cork’s versatility across modern design applications.

Informing next generations of designers

Through panels, workshops, and curated events, Cork Collective creates space for dialogue around material innovation. With programming featuring leading design institutions, we bring together students, professionals, and sustainability experts to explore cork’s role in shaping a regenerative future.

Events

Casa Cork

Casa Cork began as an immersive installation during Milan Design Week and is evolving into a traveling showcase of circular design. A living laboratory devoted to cork's potential, the installation invites communities to experience the material's vast possibilities through innovative applications and robust programming. Nearly every inch of the project is made of cork, brought to life by way of education workshops, conversations, and the student design competition.
